Josh Brolin Says Avengers: Infinity War 'Most Fun' Time He's Had

Brolin indicated that he had a blast during production.

Entertainment Weekly recently sat down with Brolin to discuss his role as Thanos and the actor revealed that he has had a blast making Avengers: Infinity War. Brolin explains.

"I love doing Avengers, it's maybe the most fun I've ever had. I just saw a little snippet of it, and it was amazing. The cutting-edge technology of what they're doing, what I've seen is absolutely mind-blowing. When I saw it on screen, it was me, but also not like me. It's really strange."

Those of us that were fortunate enough to see the footage at D23 or in San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H have seen a little bit of what Thanos can do. He grabs what appears to be a moon out of the sky and throws it at our heroes. That is a pretty insane thing to do but, according to Brolin, that’s just the beginning.

Brolin says of the difference between that footage and the finished product:

“Not even close. What they saw is not even close.”

Brolin obviously has been having a lot of fun this year, as he went from playing Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War to playing Cable in Deadpool 2. Brolin has already said that he’ll be going back for more work as Thanos, likely for Untitled Avengers, later this year.

However, Brolin wasn’t the only one having fun on set. Bautista has revealed that the chemistry between Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Pratt (as Tony Stark and Star-Lord, respectively) was something special to behold. It should likewise be all the more to finally see Brolin unleash the full might of Thanos when Infinity War gets underway.

Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, and Anthony Mackie. It will be released on May 4th, 2018.
