The last part in the series, let’s check out the most remarkable limited series or TV movie of the year!
While Madeline and Celeste take new in town single mom Jane under their wing, none of them realises how the arrival of Jane and her inscrutable little boy will affect them all. Big Little Lies is a brilliant take on ex-husbands and second wives, schoolyard scandal, and the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves just to survive.
This series tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Academy Award®-nominated thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and after the cameras stopped rolling. The series explores how the two women endured ageism and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers.
A drifter named Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) brings trouble to small-town Minnesota and influences insurance salesman Lester Nygaard (Martin Freeman) into murder. Meanwhile, a pair of local police officers are trying to piece together a series of murders which they believe is connected to Malvo and Nygaard.
In this crime mystery story, Detective Robin Griffin has recently returned to Sydney and is trying to rebuild her life. When the body of an Asian girl washes up on Bondi Beach, there appears little hope of finding the killer, until Robin realizes "China Girl" didn't die alone. Robin looks to the investigation to restore herself, but her problems are personal. Haunted by a daughter given up at birth, Robin desperately wants to find her, yet dreads revealing the truth of her conception. But her search to discover "China Girl's" identity will take her into the city's darkest recesses and closer than she could have imagined to the secrets of her own heart.
5. The Sinner
Young mother Cora Tannetti is overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage that leads her to commit a startling, and very public, act of violence, with no explanation as to why she did it. When Detective Harry Ambrose begins his investigation and grows obsessed with uncovering Cora's hidden motive, the two work together to try to get deep into her psyche to learn about the violent secrets that are hidden in her past. The eight-episode thriller, which tries to uncover the "why" instead of the "who" or "what", stars Jessica Biel, who also serves as an executive producer, and Bill Pullman in the lead roles.
