Ant-Man and The Wasp has found its first new cast member in Killjoys and Black Mirror star Hannah John-Kamen.

With shooting set to start shooting next month, Ant-Man And The Wasp director Peyton Reed is building the cast he needs around stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas. According to Variety, Hannah John-Kamen is the first new face added.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is written by Transformers: The Last Knight‘s Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari from a story by Academy Award winner Adam McKay (The Big Short), will be the 20th movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the first to have a woman share top billing with a male superhero in the title. The following movie, Captain Marvel, will be the first solo superhero film starring a female superhero from Marvel Studios, as well as the first to be directed by a woman. For comparison, Bleeding Cool can confirm that women comprise roughly half of the world’s population.

“I think the only thing I can tell you with certainty at this point… is that it’s going to have stuff in it that you’ve never ever seen in a movie before,” director Peyton Reed previously teased about the forthcoming sequel.

John-Kamen got her start in British television (including shows like Misfits, Whitechapel, and The Hour) and many audiences will recognize her from the Black Mirror episode “Fifteen Million Merits,” one of the most soul-crushing episodes of a series known for its soul-crushing episodes. She would return to the science fiction anthology series for its third season, playing a completely different character in the episode “Playtest.” Meanwhile, she landed a small role in the sixth season of Game of Thrones, played a First Order officer in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and starred in the Hulu series Killjoys. But the British actress is gearing up for a major breakout in the film world, having booked roles in the upcoming Tomb Raider remake and Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One.
