Toby Kebbell has been cast as twin brothers in sci-fi film Extrasensory from Genesius Pictures.

He may be best known for movies where you never see his actual face (such as Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Warcraft), but Toby Kebbell scores plenty of jobs where he doesn't have to don performance capture suits. And there'll be double the trouble from him now that he's on to play twins in Extrasensory. The sci-fi project will be directed by Lesley Manning from an original screenplay by Bafta-winning writer Stephen Volk. The duo worked together on Ghostwatch, the infamous drama-mockumentary presented by Michael Parkinson that received over 30,000 complaints when it aired on BBC1 in 1992.

Kebbell plays twin brothers who are recruited for a top-secret experiment by Soviet Russia to test the power of telepathic communication.

Harry Gregson Williams (The Martian, Prometheus) will write the score. Produced by Debbie Gray (Northern Soul) and Myf Hopkins, former head of production at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, Extrasensory has been developed with and is supported by Film Cymru Wales. Shooting will commence in late October 2017.

Kebbel is known for his roles in films such as Dead Man's Shoes (2004), RocknRolla (2008), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), War Horse (2011), Wrath of the Titans (2012), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Fantastic Four (2015), Warcraft (2016), A Monster Calls (2016), and Gold (2016). He is also known for his work in the Black Mirror episode, "The Entire History of You". He most recently starred in the second film of the MonsterVerse film series, Kong: Skull Island, which was released in March, 2017.
