And so are a bunch of princesses!

Taraji P. Henson, an award-winning actress best known for her work in Empire and Hidden Figures, has joined the voice cast of Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, the sequel to the 2012 Oscar-nominated video-game-world-set hit. Henson will play Yesss, a denizen of the internet, who helps Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) make their way through its hordes of spammers and rampaging “sexy housewives” ads. At the D23 Animation panel this afternoon, plot details were shared, and scenes were shown off, including one that will be a Disney Princesses fans dream:

The audience was treated to a clip, which shows Vanellope meeting with all of the Disney princesses — an impressive scene which set the stage for an equally impressive reunion on stage, bringing the crowd to its feet for stars including Ming Na Wen (Mulan), Idina Menzel (Frozen), Kristen Bell (Frozen) Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid), Paige O’Hara (Beauty and the Beast), Linda Larkin (Aladdin), Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog), Mandy Moore (Tangled), Kelly MacDonald (Brave), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana).

Taraji P. Henson currently stars on the hit Fox drama series Empire, and she recently starred in the Best Picture nominee Hidden Figures on the big screen. She will next be seen in Proud Mary and Tyler Perry's She's Living My Life next year.

The original Wreck-It Ralph movie took in $189.4 million domestic and $281.8 internationally for a worldwide total of $471.2 million, from a $165 million budget. With a prime Thanksgiving weekend release date next year, it wouldn't be surprising if Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 takes in much more than its predecessor. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is being directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, and will be in theatres November 21, 2018.
