This cinematic event will be beamed into theaters across the country. Just in time for the holidays, it’ll introduce Mondo’s new Gremlins Collection with a limited edition tee designed by Rhys Cooper (pictured below), available exclusively with tickets at participating theaters.”
Gremlins is a 1984 American comedy horror film directed by Joe Dante and released by Warner Bros. The film is about a young man who receives a strange creature called a mogwai as a pet, which then spawns other creatures who transform into small, destructive, evil monsters. Gremlins is famous for many things, but perhaps its most well-known contribution to pop culture is Gizmo, the cute little creature called a mogwai. Gizmo is as loyal and friendly as he is adorable, but mogwai come with rules, and when those rules are broken, the cuddly mogwai spawn destructive gremlins. While Gizmo is the film’s most recognizable character, the gremlins themselves provide many of the best moments, destroying property, attacking innocents, and even killing people.
