The new trailer of  "The Secret Life of Pets" has been released by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures on Late Night with Seth Meyers. This is already the third trailer for the comedy movie. The clip with nearly 3 minute duration brings us more fun, from the scene where Max felt a little bit "estranged" since his human brings home a new pet named Duke, a not only big but also annoying dog; to the scene where Max takes revenge on the one who occupied his sleeping place; where Max and Duke are kidnapped and the adventure of his friends, led by seemingly naive and cute white rabbit named Snowball, to rescue him.

A few days earlier, the filmmakers also released the posters of the movie, giving the viewers a deeper look at each character. On the posters are the pets with a board hanging on their neck, describing their personalities.

The Secret Life of Pets is the fifth animated film Illumination and Universal cooperate to produce (with the crew producing Despicable Me, Minions and The Lorax). Set inside of a Manhattan apartment building, a terrier named Max (Louis C.K.) starts to get neglected as a favorite pet when his owner Katie (Ellie Kemper) presents a sloppy mongrel named Duke (Eric Stonestreet), obtained from a dog pound, which results in a rivalry for both of them. But unfortunately, they have to put their quarrels behind when a seemingly adorable white rabbit named Snowball (Kevin Hart) and his army of abandoned pets who call themselves the "Flushed Pets" – launch a criminal conspiracy to exact retaliation on all happily-owned pets and their owners.

The film is directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. It stars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks.

The Secret Life of Pets is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2016, by Universal Pictures.
